Short Description

This presentation shares knowledge about how to transform school systems to personalized competency-based education (PCBE). It begins with a framework for paradigm change based on research on systemic transformation processes and our 11-year experience helping a public-school district to undergo such a transformation. This framework offers guidance for a transformation team to adopt values, understand principles, and conduct activities related to the transformation process appropriate for change on the classroom, school, and district levels.
