Short Description

Education students and MFA Design Thinking graduate students have spent three semesters developing short podcasts connecting issues of local and global significance to Southwest Virginia. Through multiple iterations, education students have workshopped ideas and developed short podcasts by connecting asynchronously with online graduate students using various tools; Trello, Google tools, and ZOOM. The spatial/social organization of collaborating novice participants required the use of ubiquitous software to support a ‘pedagogical authentic’ translation of analog practices.
