Short Description

This project explores the use of Q methodology as a tool for pedagogical practice against the backdrop of an emerging interest in core practices in teacher education, particularly social studies education. This research investigates the extent to which an innovative, instructional application of Q methodology facilitated preservice teacher engagement with a particular aspect of disciplinary-grounded inquiry crucial to exploration of controversial public issues.
