Thu, Nov 5, 4:30 to 5:45pm EST (4:30 to 5:45pm EST), Virtual AECT, City7

Short Description

This study employed an experimental design approach to investigate the effects of using virtual reality (VR) techniques in art appreciation. Participants included 60 undergraduates at a midwest university in the United States. Quantitative analysis methods were used to analyze students’ responses. Results indicated that there were significant differences in the learning performances of painting interpretation between the students using the traditional 2D painting and the students using the VR painting in art appreciation.
