Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) has been recognized as critical in children’s early development. Dynamic decision-making is a natural cognitive process of teachers. Due to the intense content-based STEM learning and high-level dynamicity in early childhood classrooms, early childhood teachers’ dynamic decisions may influence young children’s STEM learning experiences. This qualitative study explored in-service early childhood STEM teachers’ dynamic decision-making in early STEM classrooms. We found multiple factors that may influence teachers’ dynamic decision-making in early STEM classrooms.
