Short Description

This study aims to help teacher preparation programs identify their strengths and weaknesses relevant to educational technology competencies for teachers in their curricula. This study analyzes the scope of educational technology programs within four-year bachelor's degree teacher preparation programs in the state of Colorado, school district expectations around educational technology use in the classroom, and national standards for educational technology competencies for teachers. Trends, gaps, and recommendations for best practices are discussed.
