Tips and Challenges from Students Taking Online Courses

Short Description

As the growth of online education in the US higher education, more students enrolled in degree program from a distance. This paper presents undergraduate students’ voices about tips and challenges that they experienced in a one-year intensive fully online program. Although previous research found that time management was challenging for online students, the results showed that most students were able to manage their time well. However, the ambiguity of instruction and the lack of diverse learning materials need to be improved.
