Wed, Nov 4, 4:30 to 5:45pm EST (4:30 to 5:45pm EST), Virtual AECT, City7

Short Description

Given the growing number of children being diagnosed with autism, research has shown the extended-reality technology (i.e., VR, AR, and MR) to be a promising tool to improve outcomes for the training and treatment of individuals with Autism. We reviewed the literatures with extended reality technology intervention to people with ASD, and discussed the effect of the interventions categorized by VR, AR and MR. Implications for future research design are provided.
