Modifying Human Performance Technology Tools and Techniques to Support Performance Improvement in K12 Institutions

Wed, Nov 4, 4:30 to 5:45pm EST (4:30 to 5:45pm EST), Virtual AECT, City1

Short Description

Human Performance Technology (HPT) can be defined as the “processes, tools, and techniques” used to improve organizational performance (Van Tiem, Moseley & Dessinger, 2012, p. 6). The research of the field, and therefore the models and processes available to practitioners, is grounded in traditional, business related organizational settings. This presentation examines the use of Hattie’s (2009) domains of teaching and learning as a framework to revise common HPT models for application in K12 settings.
