Wed, Nov 4, 9:00 to 10:15am EST (9:00 to 10:15am EST), Virtual AECT, City4

Short Description

Along with its promises, there are potential pitfalls in online education such as student’s feeling of isolation. To eliminate this drawback, student’s social presence must be established in online courses, which ultimately help students feel included. To this end, the purpose of this study is to compare the experiences of graduate students with asynchronous video-based and text-based discussions administered in an online marketing course offered by a mid-size public university in the U.S.
