Short Description

Sophisticated online homework platforms have not been widely incorporated into secondary physics classrooms. This presentation will chronicle a study of how such an online homework platform was received in a secondary physics classroom. Special attention was paid to how this platform enhanced or detracted from students’ ability to engage in Self-Regulated Learning. Quantitative data from a survey was mixed with the findings from qualitative focus groups to explore this topic and arrive at conclusions.
