Short Description

This study examined how school culture and teacher beliefs influenced the implementation of problem-based learning in the classrooms of three model teachers at a high-performing STEM-focused elementary school. Field notes, observations, interviews, and artifacts were used to describe teachers’ experiences creating, curating, and implementing problem-based learning. Findings provide insight into the role school culture and teacher beliefs play in the successful implementation of problem-based learning at a K5 school.
