Short Description

This session presents findings of a design-based research study and reports on the evidence-based learning design explicitly developed to improve recruitment and retention of a more diverse group of future engineers. Using qualitative and quantitative data, we report on the ways we inform learning design development for our local context while also adding to the theoretical body of knowledge regarding curriculum that supports diverse students’ thriving in engineering.
