According to MIT and District Administration’s reports in 2019, the facial recognition technology's accuracy into question. This project is to understand the opportunity to use this technology and the data equally. We test 60 students for their facial expressions when they learn one online module. The results find the technology has the bias of students of color. We will provide a different view of using data for understanding students of color who learn online.
