Short Description

Organizations undergoing change are in a state of disequilibrium. A characteristic of systems is the dynamic nature of the cause-and-effect relationships within them. They continuously send feedback signals that are referred to as causal loops. There are two patterns of causal loops, reinforcing and balancing. In this session, participants will learn about, analyze, and create causal loops to facilitate the understanding of the complexities within systems and supports plans for change.
