Short Description

At this workshop we will explore the online space as a tool for promoting participatory learning. Learn about the central framework, Participatory Cultures (Jenkins, et al., 2006), before being introduced to a new design model for postsecondary online courses. The presenter will share a design manual for promoting participatory learning, the product of her dissertation work, and lead attendees through exercises to redesign their own courses.
