Short Description

Abstract: The context of this study was an online courseware platform that provides (1) detailed study suggestions after each end of unit quiz and (2) a second attempt on each end of unit quiz. Analyses of learner data showed that students did very little studying between quiz attempts. We used an RCT to test six different nudges with the goal of encouraging students to study more between quiz attempts and improve their second quiz attempt scores.
