Short Description

Maintaining instructor-presence in an online course is critical to fostering an online community of learners. In this session, we will discuss instructor presence and the role it plays in building a culturally responsive community of learners. We will also provide a list of best practices and tools to support instructor presence and instructor-student interaction, as well as offer case-based examples of how we have maintained a presence in the courses we have designed and taught online.
