This proposal reports on two qualitative studies that sought to explore embodied pedagogical encounters in informal settings. The first case study explores embodied teaching and learning with data in a Golf Teaching and Research Center (GTRC) located at a large mid-Atlantic university. The second case study explores how dancers embody data from previous performances and use their bodies in co-operative action to make sense of video data and choreographed movements.
