Short Description

The design and development of online and blended courses require content expertise, online teaching strategies, and skillsets and literacy of using technologies. These are closely associated with online teaching efficacy which can be developed through faculty development programming. Continued improvement of such programs invites innovative assessment design to optimize institutional capacity. This session will present a mixed-methods research assessing online teaching efficacy through an immersive faculty development program, with its rationale, operation, and preliminary results.
