Short Description

In this panel, we will discuss ethical issues raised by innovative methods in educational technology research. We will begin by addressing our field’s need to develop ethics at a high level. We will then discuss ethical challenges of learning analytics, discuss whether the right questions are being asked in data-rich research, and then introduce some of the issues associated with internet research in our field.
