Through an open, reflective, and interactive conversation about autoethnography as a research method and tool for educational technology, the presenters will discuss autoethnography, which allows critical analysis of personal experiences and stories being positioned within the larger cultural, political, and social context. We will revisit topics related to the epistemological and methodological discussions, connect autoethnography to other research methods such as design-based research and ethnography, and reflect on its potential and challenges.
