Integrating the Culture of Ignatian Pedagogy with Instructional Systems Design in Online/Hybrid Course Design

Sat, Nov 7, 4:30 to 5:45pm EST (4:30 to 5:45pm EST), Virtual AECT, City2

Short Description

This session provides an insight of integrating the Ignatian culture into the systematic course design of hybrid and online courses at a Jesuit institution in New York (NY). Ignatian pedagogy focuses on educating the whole person through its five tenets namely Context, Experience, Reflection, Action, and Evaluation (CERAE) in developing learners into caring leaders. The model guiding our course development process is unique in that it embeds these principles into the systematic design of instruction.
