Maker-Space Reimagined: An Italian Exploration in Creativity

Short Description

In this session, participants will identify design elements of the Italian makerspace; examine related artifacts and materials; analyze learning principles, and discuss its application in their individual context. Learning by doing constructionist pedagogy in Italian-situated makerspace focuses on expressing identity through materials in a learner-driven flexible curriculum. Maker-based explorations facilitate creativity and computational thinking while honoring the individuality and identity of each individual. The researcher(s) will share examples and lessons learned from an Italian makerspace workshop.
