Creativity is an essential human element that is described as a 21st century skill needed by individuals to survive and prosper in the modern age. Educators need to understand how to develop creativity in the next generations of instructional designers to formulate innovative solutions to increasingly complex challenges. A panel of instructional design (ID) faculty and a recognized expert in creativity discuss tools and techniques used to stimulate creativity in introductory and advanced ID courses.
