Short Description

This roundtable session will discuss cross-cultural negotiation skills in instructional design and technology (IDT) practices. Effective cross-cultural negotiation is necessary for IDT professionals to survive and thrive in their career, especially for international students and early-career professionals. Session attendants will share their experience with cross-cultural negotiation in IDT practices. The distal outcome will be some strategies for graduate students and early-career professionals to overcome negotiation barriers and get prepared for cross-cultural IDT careers.
