Short Description

The poster session aims to introduce theoretical and practical bases of designing and developing a student employee onboarding program in a university library. After analyzing the previous training program and understanding student workers’ needs, the designer applied two instructional design models, ADDIE and SAMR (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition), to redevelop a hybrid onboarding program. The newly designed hybrid program included face-to-face instructions and online learning modules built on Top Hat supplemented with Twitter.
