It is in vogue for educational organizations to have a modern classroom that showcases interactive technologies but rarely do re-designs include faculty, facilities, administration and academic computing working together, past their differences, for a common goal. This presentation investigates how systems thinking aided an ideal classroom design for a large university classroom that represents a conscious movement from a traditional classroom to an environment that encourages student-centered learning from its technology to aesthetics.
