The study was to investigate the impact of "Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr" (“Voluntary Social Year”) on high school graduates in Germany and to examine the structures of the "Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr". Data collection involved survey and interviews. Data analysis included Descriptive statistics, content analysis, and coding. The results indicated that "Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr" made positive impact on high school graduates in Germany and the structures of "Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr" is culturally-situated in Germany.
