Short Description

This poster session aims to provide insights into the utility of a Facebook group as a learning management system utilizing the CoI framework in an EFL speaking class in particular, and in university courses in general. The findings from the literature about the use of Facebook and CoI framework will be discussed. In addition, the methods of an ongoing mixed-method study measuring the effectiveness of the use of a Facebook group will be presented.
