The study investigated the effect of the number of online courses previously taken on learners’ perceived cognitive presence, social presence, teaching presence, engagement, and satisfaction. The CoI, engagement scale, and satisfaction instrument were administered to collect data (n=878) from a large midwestern university. Researchers conducted descriptive analysis, MANOVA, and one-way ANOVA. Only social presence scores demonstrated a statistically significant difference by the number of the online courses taken through the post hoc analysis.
