Instructional design is only limited by the knowledge, skills, experiences and imagination of instructional designers. For those of us who have chosen instructional design as our profession, congratulations! We are onto an exciting journey.

Yet, what are the qualifications and experiences that a seasoned instructional designer should possess? This question has been raised frequently via our dialogues with other instructional designers working in the academia. We feel it would be a worthwhile discussion for a group of instructional designers to share their views on their journeys.
