Creating a New Culture for Medical School Faculty: A Curriculum Re-Design Workshop

Short Description

Although medical educators are subject-matter experts, many receive little or no training to enable them to be effective instructors (Srinivasan et al., 2011). To bridge this gap, we created a faculty development workshop. This presentation will describe the development, implementation, and evaluation of a two, half-day curriculum re-design workshop. Results from two iterations of the workshop will highlight the programs impact on medical school faculty and include a design showcase.
