Short Description

Research in the learning, design, and technology field often focuses on the quality of the course content and overlooks the influence of a classroom facility or online platform on learning. Drawing on the results of a recent study with students registered with a university disability center, the researchers present implications of classroom design on learning for instructional designers and their collaborative stakeholders. Topics include accessibility compliance, affordances, and universal design.
