Short Description

This Inspire! Session is aimed at instructional designers and professionals working in education and training interested in applying design thinking and the Human Centered Design (HCD) approach to promote systemic changes to better serve their communities. The purpose of the session is to help participants recognize systems thinking and change (STC) principles in the practices of design thinking (Jones, 2014) and in their own instructional contexts to identify opportunities for culturally situated systemic design.
