Users’ Behaviors of Submitting and Commenting in Education-Related Subreddits

Short Description

This study is an investigation of users’ behaviors of posting and commenting in five education-related subreddits: r/teaching, r/Teachers, r/education, r/teachingresources, and r/CSEducation. Data were analyzed for the period from January 2018 until May 2019.Comparative analysis revealed differences among the five results showing that the r/Teachers subreddit has the most engagement scores and active users percentages while the r/education subreddit has the lowest score of engagement although it has the second-highest number of (submissions and comments).
