A decade ago, five technology trends were identified by a focus group of medical educators at an international faculty development conference regarding the use of instructional technologies to address challenges in medical education. This presentation will outline these trends, providing updates and recommendations for preparing faculty to use instructional technologies in the medical education context to support the next generation of students.
