Learning Activities Card Game: An Interactive Professional Development Strategy for Health Sciences Education

Short Description

There are innovative efforts underway around the globe to enhance health sciences education, but the default instructional approach remains traditional, e.g., talk, text, and test. In this hands-on session, participants will experience firsthand a "Learning Activities Game" that introduces Health Sciences Professionals to 25 ways to help others learn. First developed for the World Health Organization, this game has been recently updated by the Global Institute for Health Sciences Education at the University of Houston.
