Short Description

This paper discusses the emotional benefits to teaching and learning by fifteen MOOC instructors in American universities who took multiple roles in their MOOC design, development and delivery and who exposed to global audience on Coursera. The paper describes their perceptions of diversity (i.e. the merits and the challenges); and how exposure to global learners made them be culturally sensitive in their thoughts, compassion and acts towards engaging the learners with the course content.
