Instructional strategy selection is a key decision point in the instructional design process, simultaneously leveraging the science of human learning and the art of teaching. As such, instructional designers can benefit from advanced knowledge of instructional strategy options and organizing frameworks, as well as the evidence-based theoretical and practical considerations on which to base selection decisions. This presentation will provide attendees with the tools and methods to enhance this skill in their design practice.
