Short Description

This action research involved 26 fourth-grade students in a project-based learning (PBL) unit centered around scientific concepts animal habitats and adaptations. Students worked in teams to research Florida animals, create habitat models, develop digital educational presentations, and prepare for presenting their learning to different audiences. Pre and postassessments on adaptations and habitats were used to measure student to measure growth in science knowledge. Pre and postsurveys were used to measure intrinsic and grade motivation
