Summer Youth Maker Program Mentors: Observations, Retention, and Growth Opportunities

Short Description

Observations and findings from three years as an embedded researcher within a summer youth maker group will be reported. Foci of this presentation will be on the characteristics of mentors who consistently attend, those that are only with the group briefly, and opportunities for growth which could help with retaining more mentors and better preparing them to be a part of the group.
