Student Perceptions of Quality Teaching in Virtual Reality

Short Description

Higher educational institutions are rapidly increasing the number of courses available using a Virtual Reality (VR) platform, creating a related professional development need for teaching in VR. As part of a larger research project to identify best practices for VR courses in higher education, a 30-minute sample VR class experience was created incorporating a variety of teaching elements. This presentation shares students’ perspectives about their experience from a voluntary survey completed following their VR participation.
