Short Description

SimTEACHER Mobile was created to provide preservice teachers with classroom management training through an immersive simulation. SimTEACHER Mobile consists of three main components: (1) Simulation cards that trigger classroom management simulation scenarios, (2) Interactive virtual student characters that autonomously respond to users’ inputs, and (3) Evaluation scoring dashboard that visualizes users’ classroom management performance using graphs, scores, and feedback. Users can also compare their performance with expert teachers’ performance.
