Big data is becoming very popular in the modern digital age. It provides an opportunity in understanding various disciplines including healthcare (Health Trends Report, 2020). Recently, COVID-19 brought the importance of big data into the spotlight and its analysis as a resource for healthcare professionals. This paper explains how big data and learning objects could be integrated together in a software for healthcare professionals. This research will benefit individuals with backgrounds in instructional design, educational technology, computer science, and medicine. The use of MongoDB (a big data management system), JavaScript, and Java Script Object Notation (JSON) in the proposed software is explained.
