Electronic team training, e-team training, has been used in many industries with great success. E-team training has provided observable benefits (e.g., improved team effectiveness, quicker team response times, and reduced training costs), as well as self-reported benefits (e.g., satisfaction and communication skills). Massive open online courses, MOOCs, have yet to benefit from scaled e-team training. This presentation will provide recommendations on how to overcome the barriers that keep e-team training from a scaled MOOC environment.
