Short Description

This session will provide a brief introduction to Experience API (xAPI) and how it can be integrated when designing online courses. It will cover how to set up the needed infrastructure along with how to author a simple module that is xAPI compliant. Finally, it will touch on the future direction towards the integration of learning analytics to make sense of the xAPI data with the hope to better support learners.
