A Framework for Understanding the Role of Sociocultural Factors in Instructed Learning

Short Description

We sought to create a map of the sociocultural factors that influence the processes of school learning. To do so required our own comprehensive framework of the major factors influencing instructed learning, since no other such framework has been found in the literature. With such a framework it is possible to identify the connections between the various sociocultural factors identified in previous research and the proximal and distal factors impacting instructed learning.
