Short Description

Over the past 20 years, knowledge about learning, instructional strategies, technological tools, and ID processes has advanced considerably, but most ID process models have not kept pace. In order to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the ID process, we have developed the Holistic 4D Model. It takes a holistic approach to designing instruction and consists of four major activities: Define, Design, Develop, and Deploy. It also integrates instructional theory into the ID process.
