ICEM- Using MOOCs in Formal Courses and Programs

Short Description

The purpose of this paper has two folds: the first, it summarizes the literature on effects of MOOCs on the learning-teaching and administrative processes in tertiary education; and the second, it introduces an ongoing European Union-funded project, abbreviated as MODE-IT, that intends to explore ways to use MOOCs or MOOC-based pedagogies into regular online courses and the lessons learned in the project so far.
